Os Negros Traditional Dance Group from Luanda Angola performs Angolan traditional dance NDimbu at the AfroConex Battle. NDimbu, is an Angolan warrior dance from Northern and Eastern Angola. In this piece Os Negros fuses NDimbu with techiques from several African dances. Included also in this presentation is Mukiki (masked dancer) from Tchokwe people. They create their own footwork combinations and dance with a lightness that allows them to nimbly move through fast sequences.
